Kobe Bryant made a statement in his last game of his 20-year career on Wednesday night. He scored 60 points in his finale, which is the most ever in a player's last game! He scored 23 points in the final quarter, helping his team rally back from a 15-point deficit to beat the Jazz 101-96. Kobe is now the third-leading scorer in NBA history behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone. He took a career-high 50 shots and became the oldest player ever to score 50+. "The perfect ending would have been a championship," Bryant said with a smile. "But tonight was (me) trying to go out, play hard, and try to put on a show as much as I possibly could. It felt good to be able to do that one last time." It may not have been the perfect ending, but Kobe put on one heck of a show and performances like the one last night are the reason we all grew up yelling "KOBE" when we threw something into a trash can.http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2016/apr/14/kobe-bryant-scores-60-points-in-storybook-farewell-victory
He was a great player through out his whole career. It's a shame that his career had to come to an end but he ended on a great note.

ReplyDeleteKobe had an amazing last game and he really did just go out there, did him, enjoyed the game, and came out with not only a win but scored 60 points.
