Tennis Meets Virtual Reality

LiveLike, a virtual reality company, and ATP World Tour just secured a partnership to bring virtualreality to Tennis. The first big test for this company will come at BNP Paribas Open, a tennis tournament, in Indian Wells, California. LiveLike puts you into a virtual box seat and straps on a virtual reality headset making you feel like you are in the stadium. The virtual box suite also includes stats on players and a backroom that has replays of the match. This will change sport forever and literally change the way we view sports in the 21st Century!

  1. This would be cool and possible to integrate into all sports, assuming it functions properly and there are no issues with the technology.

  2. I agree Aaron. It would be very interesting to see all sports eventually using this new technology in every sport.

  3. I agree with the previous comments but would also like to add that this idea of a virtual reality system being used in tennis could drive profits through the roof! Having virtual reality used in seats will allow the stadium to skyrocket prices on the seating area, and with an upgrade like that, fans wont be able to argue with the cost increase.
